The back room
Archive
The archive is the back room, where the learning on this desk is filed in one place. The notes, the dictionary, the puzzle and the qubit page are already on the shelves, and the longer courses sit on Quantum Computing Courses.
On the same desk
Nerd notes
Six short notes, read in order. The first is “A bit is a switch”, and each one ends with a check you can run.
Nerdictionary
The dictionary gives the words the notes use, and the second paragraph of an entry crosses out the version that sounds better than the sum. Open it when a word has just turned up and the note has moved on.
Superpositioned
Superpositioned is a set of ten one-qubit puzzles, each with a start state, a few gate keys and a target. The bars are the chances of reading 0 and of reading 1, and a red bar marks the amplitude whose sign is opposite to the other.
The qubit
The qubit page draws one qubit as a sphere, with the state certain to read 0 at the north pole and the state certain to read 1 at the south pole. The height of the point fixes the chances, and the angle around the upright axis is the relative phase.
Qubit Factory
Qubit Factory runs one or two qubits through the gates and counts what the reader prints, and a hundred runs turn the bits into a chart of the chances. The arcade also has six quizzes for readers who already know kets.
Quantum Computing Courses
Quantum Computing Courses is the longer study, on its own site.
